AWANTI POLYMOULDS- A COMPANY KNOWN BY THE COMPANY’S IT WORKS FOR

What shall we say about Awanti Polymoulds portfolio of companies it has worked for- that has risen in a short span so far- they are the feathers in the cap for Awanti.
Coca-Cola, Parle agro, Bisleri, Electro Semantics, Pepsi, Patanjali, Manikchand, Aqua sure, CCD, Big Bazaar, Tata Tea, Sidel, Shyam Plastic Machinery- and the list is growing every month. All these are leading brands in India.

The core focus at Awanti is Bottle designing, Mould manufacturing, Mould, and bottle testing.
Generally, the industry perception is a mould is a mould is a mould- yet for Awanti it the accuracy and objectivism for the mould is significant. The team at Awanti insists on an extensive briefing of the product to be packaged in the mould, its ingredients, volume, shelf life, and further transport till the end-user.

Awanti has given the accuracy driven polymoulds for their products- blow moulds to industry leaders in packaged drinking water, carbonated drinks, fruit juices, breweries, health drinks, iced tea, edible oils, personal care, pharmaceuticals.

Accuracy, an eye for detail, complete solution in moulds has been a way of work for Awanti- no client is small for them- every project is the task ably carried by them. Built to exacting standards and demands, Awanti’s moulds are renowned for innovation and precision that ensure the bottles meet the aesthetic as well as functional demands of the brand to be packaged. They satisfy all requirements further, like a high-pressure filling, stacking, transportation, all-weather storage, and usage.

Moreover, these moulds give a long term service lasting over 6 mln operation and least maintenance. Have a look at the video of Awanti polymoulds work and you can see the versatile yet precise acumen it demonstrates

Making a beginning in 1990 in Pune – India, Awanti Polymoulds has emerged as the pioneer and leader in the designing, manufacturing, and testing of blow moulds for Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles. No wonder the company is ranked among the top 10 blow mould makers by a global beverage manufacturer for its bottling units worldwide.

Shirish Kshirsagar is the founder, chairman and managing director of Awanti Polymoulds.
A mechanical and production engineer by qualification, he has a vast experience in technology for the changing world. The Government of Japan and the Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship has recognized him twice in the last 10 years, for his outstanding entrepreneurial and technical skills.

Jaydeep Kshirsagar is the Director, engineering graduate and postgraduate in business studies, ably supporting Shirish and the entire team of subject experts, R & D, and project managers of Awanti. He too has accumulated practical experience by working in various multinational companies in India and Singapore, before joining Awanti.

For them success in each polymould assignment is a destination to go further with more and more redefined vision, and producing better versions next.

Together they and the team are constantly updating their knowledge, upgrading technology and ambitiously working towards spreading their wings on the global map. At the same time the company is supporting the movement, ‘MAKE IN INDIA’.

Moulds for Better Shelf Life of PET Bottles

Before we talk about Shelf Life of  PET Bottles  let us first understand what does the term shelf life means. Shelf life is the duration of time period measured from the date of manufacture, that a good is likely to endure within its accepted product specification while stocked under defined conditions. Shelf life is characteristically stated in units of months, i.e. 12 months, 24 months, up to a limit of 60 months. The expression “shelf life” and “expiry date” is frequently interchangeably made use of in the industry, as both the terms reflect the same notion: there is a duration of time period where a good is stable and harmless for use. Shelf life/expiry dates suggests the time where a good will work both securely and efficiently. This is the reason why “shelf life testing” is also known as “stability testing”. The total amount of time a product can remain stable under specific environmental circumstances, equates to its shelf life. Now let us understand what shelf ...

Manufacturing of rotary-blowing moulds for a global soft-drink company across India

Project duration: 8 months Project scope: – Technical and aesthetic design of a carbonated drink bottle, based on inputs from the customer – Testing of pilot mould and bottle samples as per international standards – Manufacturing of moulds for different rotary blowing machines (> 50 moulds) Project synopsis: The objective of this project was to design a common bottle for different flavours of carbonated drinks and manufacture moulds for six franchise-bottling operations of a global beverage brand in India. This was what we call a “full scale project”, which starts with designing the bottle, followed by pilot mould trials and ends with the manufacturing of commercial moulds for each franchise. Bottle designing Based on the customer inputs like product application, pack-size and perform weights, we initiated the process of designing the bottle With our in-house team of design engineers using state-of-the-art 3D modelling soft-wares, we gave the customer multiple design options, ...

Import Quality Preform Moulds from India

PET, an acronym for polyethylene terephthalate, is a synthetic resin of thermoplastic polymer, while a preform is an intermediate product that is ultimately blown up into containers or bottles. Preforms are manufactured from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and so they are called "PET Preforms." Over centuries, PET preform moulds have been manufactured in a particular manner. However, with modern plastic moulding materials, there has been a great advancement in the way they are manufactured now. The most recent mass production PET preform moulding machinery has been developed, and the latest PET preform moulds in steel and alloys have been introduced to withstand severe processes. Accuracy is the key requirement in present manufacturing, and PET preform plastics are manufactured by steadily mounting a high standard of precision, which requires modern machine tool applications and methods. While there are several PET blow mould manufacturers and suppliers all over the globe...
